I don't post here about every new part that comes along, but we just got a part in that I'm pretty excited about.
We finally have 65-66 Hood Moldings made in the original Ford Tooling! You can read about them here: http://blog.virginiaclassicmustang.com/

Thank goodness! The older repro never seemed to get any better through the years and was always a pain to install.

We have the screws, but they do not come with this molding. Now, whether there were production changes on the hardware or not, I don't know. I would have to do some research on that.

AMEN!!! I will be ordering one with my next batch of stuff I'll eventually be needing. I lost $30 shipping charges on my last reproduction garbage piece that was promised as a FORD NOS part from another shady vendor (as you may remember). Great to have this desireable part now available.

Since they were never a standalone factory option on any '65, then it would only be a dealer item. They first appeared only on GT cars, which started in production halfway through the '65 model year. So, no, I would not consider a hood molding correct for any 64.5.
