Anchor pin plates

After tearing down brakes, I noticed there were no anchor pin plates, are these Needed on my front an back brakes an if so where could I find them. Thanks, Relicdog

If you want secure brake pads, yes you need them.

Ebay currently has a bag of 50 for sale for just a couple bucks.
