Intake color?

Postby Ronzcars » Tue Jun 13, 2017 9:09 pm

The intake manifold on my '65 K car is painted black. Is this the correct color for the intake, or should it be natural, unpainted iron?

Thanks, Ron

Black is correct. The engine was almost completely assembled, no carburetor but its spacer installed (masked ports), exhaust manifolds with overspray, no fuel pump, oil filter installed, damper installed, alternator not, brackets not, upper pulley not, spacer not, fan not, bypass hose from the thermostat housing to the pump and clamps installed (painted), heater fitting not, oil pressure sender not, if GT the extender not, engine mounts not, flywheel and rear cover overspray.
