Repro Starter Solenoid

Postby Zed » Mon Mar 27, 2017 2:02 am

Hi, my car won't turn over by the key. If I bypass the solenoid it will turn over so I think the starter solenoid has died.
My car is a Sept. 65 build Metuchen Kar. would an AMK solenoid be better than a Scott Drake one?
Cheers Eddie

A good used Autolite or MotorCraft solenoid, or NOS solenoid would be a better choice vs. any of the newly manufactured units. They aren't that hard to find.

I saw the ones on ebay and never checked else where.
Order placed at Rockauto- cost $31AUD and I should see it in 2-3 weeks.
Thanks zray for your advice.
