What is this pressure plate?

Postby gjz30075 » Mon Apr 10, 2017 10:58 am

Hi all, I've acquired a three finger pressure plate with number C3OA-7566-CA. The clutch surface is 10.4" and the springs have two vertical white 'stripes'.
Also the clutch surface has three little dimples, one at 12 oclock, one at 4 oclock and the other at 8 oclock, in roughly the middle of the surface. They look factory. I'm having trouble posting pictures of this thing so I'm hoping someone can help me identify it, based on my description. I thinks it's Fairlane based and wonder if it is good for a hipo pressure plate?

Thanks.

What you have is a correct Hipo pressure plate for both Fairlanes and Mustangs. The other difference is that the Hipo pressure plate does not have the extra weights on the release arms that would stick outside of the cover.

Ah, good, thank you! This one does NOT have the counterweights on the arms.
