Here's a used FoMoCo dual point distributor for sale by eBay member "mustangmasters428 ". (Anyone know what's up with the primary wire?)

DESCRIPTION: "Here we have a good used FoMoCo Dual Point Distributor for a 289 High Performance engine, commonly used in Mustangs, Fairlanes, and Cyclones. Standard distributors were equipped with a vacuum advance pod on the side, unlike these high performance units, which offered no vacuum advance.

This original distributor has no extra holes modifications and is in good used working condition. The lobes are crisp to snap both sets of points open as originally designed. No excessive play in the shaft, this unit has no visible signs of gouges, welds, or repairs. This piece is in good used condition and would certainly be a perfect match for the GT 350 or K code classic restoration.

It also has a good condition rubber ring on the shaft that is expected to seal tightly without need for replacement and the points and condenser are in excellent condition. This unit has the factory part number of C5OF-12127-E which was for the 64 65 66 and 67 years, we have an Autolite and a Fomoco so please email for a date if you are a numbers matching owner."

Considering the high starting bid, the "over polished" body, and the strange wiring harness attached, is anyone surprised it still didn't sell?

This used distributor is for sale by eBay member "jollyroge".

DESCRIPTION: "1966 Shelby GT500 Mustang Ford dual point distributor . Here is an original Ford dual point dist. for A 289 Hi-Po engine. This will fit all 260-289-302 Ford engines. This dist. was removed for the first time from a 66 Shelby GT350 engine that had been sitting for 40 years. It has a Ford part number of C5OF-12127-E on it with a date of 6D2 ( Feb2nd 1966 ).The proper marking of FoMoCo is on the housing as well. This would be correct for a 1966 Shelby GT350 but will fit all year Shelbys from 65-67 .It is complete with low mileage and still has some of the original Autolite points in it. It may need some service but really is a sweet piece. Don't miss out if you need one of these for your car! Will accept all forms of payment. Winner pays actual UPS shipping cost."

This Pertronix modified distributor was SOLD for only $177.53 by eBay member "pennymotors". (Do not adjust your monitors. The pictures have poor lighting and are hard to see.)

DESCRIPTION: "This distributor was recently removed from a running 1965 K-code 289. The old points were replaced 10 years ago with a pertronics points eliminator, dual points are such a hassle and the pertronics units runs so well. Every thing else is still original which means large curve mechanical advance and no vacuum advance. These distributors are getting to be very rare and this one is in great shape no rust and the shaft is tight. You will not be disappointed."
