Fred,
Was the staggered pattern used on all HiPo and/or GT suspensions? What's the deal with the staggered pattern and why is this significant?

This was supposed to have been used on the left hand side on dual exhaust 65 and 66 Mustangs. The only 65 and 66 Mustangs that had factory dual exhaust were Hipos and GT's. 65 and 66 have different diameter shafts. I have very rarely seen any of these on 65 and 66 Mustangs and there was never a service part available. Interestingly the listing for 1966 in several of the Ford MPC's that I have do list the standard shackle for the right hand side only on a 289 Special. It does not mention the GT as having the standard shackle on the right hand side specifically. All that said, there is NO listing for the special left hand side version. This leads me to believe that it was an assembly line only piece.

It does not mention the GT as having the standard shackle on the right hand side specifically. All that said, there is NO listing for the special left hand side version. This leads me to believe that it was an assembly line only piece.

The listing has ended with NO sale.

Relisted for the same price HERE.

These used shackles received no bids by May 22, 2018 and therefore did NOT sell.

"65 Mustang & Shelby GT350 leaf spring rear shackle kits, assembly line correct for dual exhaust cars, drivers side has correct staggered studs. These are bare metal shackles, not painted, no pitting or damage & come with the correct 9/16" studs used on the 1964 & 1965 cars. These will also fit & operated correctly on your 1966 Mustang & Shelbys. Perfect parts for your top of the line show & go Pony!"

The staggered pattern one is the tough one to come up with.

Fred,
Was the staggered pattern used on all HiPo and/or GT suspensions?
