This "triple black" convertible is for sale by eBay member "vanguardmotorsales".

DESCRIPTION: "1965 Ford Mustang K Code Convertible. This is an extremely rare Mustang. This is a numbers matching, southern car, and is an original triple black car as well. The gentleman that we purchased the car from owned the car for 20 years. He purchased it out of Tennessee, and brought it back to Georgia where he drove the car almost daily until he restored it 10 years ago. The car underwent a full and complete restoration, while keeping it as stock as possible to preserve the history of the car. The previous owner did a full title search on the car and traced the history all the way back to the original purchase back in 1965. The car was first purchased by a woman who traded in her 1962 corvette for it. We have all of the documentation for this car including chain of title and receipts of the restoration. The original transmission, carburetor and air cleaner are included in the sale as well."

It's been sold. It's sitting in my garage under a blanket. (It's cold here today. 19 degrees)

I'm looking for a GREAT mechanic / shop to do maintenance and install some items, eg., 3 point seat belts, etc.

Also any ideas to enhance this car? If you owed it what would you do with it to improve it, besides drive it? :)

Forget the three point belts and any "enhancements", just drive it and have fun. There's a few "K" owners, Shelby's too, that have spent thousands eliminating "enhancements". These "K" cars are worth more stock. I've don't some minor work for them and have heard the horror stories. In other words, don't drill, cut or add anything permanent. Get a set of 1965 Mustang Assembly Manuals; Body, Interior, Electrical, Engine Accessories, 64-65 Chassis and 64-65 Weld-Sealant and see what makes them go. If you want Ford Style Steel Wheels or dual redline tires (the tires were a no cost option), check out any number of online or mail order (telephone order too) businesses, National Parts Depot http://www.npdlink.com/ or Virginia Classic Mustang http://www.virginiaclassicmustang.com/ (Brant is a poster here), and there are more.
