"HI YOUR LOOKING AT MY 1966 GT mustang fastback, Very Rare 289 Hipo, K Code, 4 Speed, No motor or transmission rolling body only! The car was only from Alabama, than sat in a barn for 15 yrs. in New Hampshire never in the salt! No rust any of the frame rails, THIS CAR NEEDS COMPLETE RESTORATION! I Have New full floors and Quarter panels for it. Very Rare Silver Frost paint code #4,with 66B Body Code, Black Luxury interior, The radiator support was cut out for a big radiator at one times, and the shock towers have some dents, I was told it was raced back in the 1980's. I have all the interior and fold down seat, I have all the glass, Has disc brakes spindles, has a 9" rear end posi, Not Original Hipo rear end housing, It has the GT steering box numbers are HCC-AX. The only parts I have are on the tarp and what's in the pictures, Has new quarter panels, full floors pans, seat risers, new rear bumper, new headliner, automatic console, interior fiberglass panels, side roof vents, original fog lites! the hood, trunk lid, and doors are solid. Parts missing for no front bumper, no front valance, no front or back window mouldings! I MAY HAVE A TITLE COMING FROM THE GUY IN N.H.? MAYBE JUST A BILL OF SALES ! I bought this just the way you see it. I have the original door with the original tag on it. Has roof rail mouldings!"

Just needs a restoration at the cost of $100,000 plus. And in the end nothing matches up.

From what I can see from the front of the rear axle housing, it does appear to be correct. The door panels and inner door handles are for a standard rather than a pony interior.

Well, a K engine and Top Loader just showed up for sale HERE . It's just what this fastback project needs to get going. Talk about good timing?

How about taking a T/C/A-code fastback and moving everything over to the K-code unibody once restored... then down to engine/trans/rear... Engine + transmission $3000 (top estimate) + rear $2500 (top estimate) + own labor... I can see it living again... Now finding date matching parts is a whole different game...
