5F09K333450 Body dug out of salvage yard.

If you find an engine, tranny, buck tag, build sheet, or any other documentation with a K VIN, post it here so it can hopefully be reunited with its Kar. You can also make an 'In Search Of' post with the VIN you're hoping to find.

This was a bare stripped body dug out of a salvage yard 25 yrs. ago. All the drive train was gone. Would like to find the original engine and tranny and bring them home. Miracles have been known to happen.

It has been. Replaced passenger A pillar, complete cowl and dash, 1/2 of the floor, and partial of both quarters. It's painted and about 70% completed. Doing our best to keep all work completed at a level that you would believe it is a totally straight untouched original body. That takes time.

Where was the salvage yard located? How about looking for another 'K' body? Back in 1967, a 1965 Shelby GT 350 'R' model was wrecked, stripped, and buried somewhere in the river bottoms.
Wonder what the 'K' body would be worth?

The salvage yard in mostly dry western KS is long gone. If the R model was buried in the Kansas City area, finding a yellow needle in a haystack would be simple compared to finding anything of value of the R model still buried.
