I've been fortunate over many years to collect many photos that include Mustangs. They range mostly from the 60's to 80's and all contain at least one Mustang. If you don't see a Mustang in the photo, your not looking closely enough! :D Some of these I'm sure you may have seen before while others may be new to you. I'll post a few up here and if there is desire to see more I will add to this thread. Please add to it if you have any to share.

Interesting pictures especially where a Mustang is NOT the focus of the picture. More would be good.

The last picture must be Glendale, California.

Great photos that are an automotive time capsule. Being from Philadelphia, I remember the WFIL (AM 56) "Prize Patrol" Mustang. That station used to be top rated "Top Forty" and the air personalities were dubbed the "BOSS Jocks". Today, the station is an unrated religious format.

Here are a few dealership oddities. Can you spot them?

From the picture, there must be a lot of reflections breaking up any smooth look of the caps as it still looks almost like the center of a styled steel wheel to me. I just figured that the sealer had neglected to install the trim rings.

I see what you mean now Fred. ;) Yes, the larger photo is clearer that shows the full wheel caps are indeed installed on this car. Did you notice the stripe placement on the GT/CS earlier?
**edit** Now that I look at the posted photo of the GT/CS it's hard to see the stripes. They are just above the rocker moulding! :o Difficult to see in the photo I posted.

Matt,
In regards to your question, see 1965 photos below. Notice what is missing?

Image

There are two GT's in the foreground of this one. You can see only one car in this photo, the red GT on the right has SS wheels installed from the factory.

Hope this helps.

Those Einsteins always manage to pass on their DNA before the Darwin rule is invoked. Dang, so much for the evolution of our species.
