The problem for me is that somewhere down the road the rebody stigma will fade and this will then become the much higher priced original at someones great expense.

"re-bodied from the original Shelby body" translates to; "took the VINs off a Shelby and pasted them on a non-original Shelby".

Fred is right about the stigma fading. Unfortunately some poor sap will get stuck with a car that never was a Shelby.

As of November 1, 2017 this car has the following statement by the seller regarding the auction:

"This listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available. "
