Garage find

Postby 289kford » Fri Dec 22, 2017 7:40 am

this was posted on the message boards for Ford dealer employees

"one of our techs just told me he had an aunt that passed away recently in San Francisco .....he, an uncle and another nephew went to clear out the house she had occupied for almost 60 years.............the garage was packed to the doors and ceiling with random items.............underneath them? a 66 Mustang convertible, red w/black top, 6cyl........window stickers and 18 miles on odometer..........................uncle is VERY pleased.............. "

Any guess on value?
Would this environment promote rust?

So far, no talk of what will happen to it.

Don't know anything about prices for the six cylinder variety, but it represents the bottom of the list since it's not a V 8.

If it was fake news, it would have been a K GT convertible, originally sold in Russia.
